Well folks, he did it. The Freeskier Magazine video intern, Gabe Freeman has consumed 8 cans of cat food and here is the video.
In case you weren’t keeping track of this epic saga, here’s the backstory…
Freeskier Magazine intern Gabe Freeman created the Facebook group “I want to see Gabe Freeman eat catfood” through which he insisted that for every 200 people to join the group he would eat one full sized can of catfood on August 13th. Come game day, there was a grand total of 1681 members of the group, and young Gabe sat down before 8 cans of catfood. He got it done, but it certainly wasnt pretty. Here’s how it went down.
Anyone who follows MMP knows that I swim, religiously. No surprise, I’ve been following the Beijing games like a crazed fanatic. However, I’ve also been following swimming for the same passion over the past year. I’ve been reading athlete blogs, stalking them on international results, etc.
Hopefully, Phelpsmania catches on here in the USA and people realize how great swimming is and can join the rest of the world in following the sport.
Unfortunately, I was outside on my phone doing some big business deals for Freeskier.TV and didn’t have the pleasure of his salutations. Thankfully, he went to my computer, opened the Stickies application on OS X and left me this lovely note.
I open the garage door this morning to find a deer munching away on my foliage. Umm, WTF deer. Did I invite you over for breakfast this morning? Was there a sign on my front lawn that said “Continental Shrubbery Buffet: 8:30 - 10:30″? No, I think not.
Next time I catch you in my front yard, I’m getting my gloc and leaving you in the driveway as an example to all your friends.
